Step 1. PharmaLogic - a pharmaceutical logistics company.
An important part of PharmaLogic's business is to collect blood samples from various clinics in a prescribed geographical area.

Pharmalogic needs to track when the samples were picked up, who signed them out and when they were delivered to the PharmaLogic labs.

This is where FieldMetrix's job tracking and monitoring capabilities play a key role.

Each PharmaLogic mobile user has a handheld device running the FieldMetrix mobile application. This application has a complete list of the day's jobs and tasks that the mobile user needs to complete, including all the pickups and deliveries s/he needs to make.

As each job is accepted, then started, then completed, timestamps are logged, so there is an audit log of the driver's activities.

If anything happens to delay the delivery of the blood samples, the business intelligence built into the FieldMetrix desktop application, will ensure that an sms or email is sent to management, so that they can take proactive action.
